Organic Matters

A  “Site-Soul-Sense” responsively created work explores a possible symbiosis

The notion of  “Site-Soul-Sense” responsive means, that my work responses to the environment, history and current realities of its place, as well as to my own perception of the sensorial experiences; to discover places in the soul and imagination that may have not been visited before.

The loam and branch construction is filled with natural materials, such as beechnuts, acorns and cupules. To humans it might bring beauty or wonders, to animals it can for example provide shelter and over the course of time, the work will dissolve back to where it came from.

It is about:

Sensing the environment

Creating a closed circle that does not fight natural processes

Working with natural laws by following fundamental principles of nature

Using only materials that originate from the region
